Big Boss moves goods across 11 governorates and was outgrowing the spreadsheet-driven operations they had built over a decade. We took a phased approach: stock and dispatch first, drivers second, reporting and finance last. The ERP is a single Next.js + NestJS app with Postgres at the core and Redis for live dispatch state. The driver-facing React Native app runs offline-first because rural coverage is unreliable, and syncs delta on reconnection. Reporting was the most negotiated piece: leadership wanted five dashboards, we shipped two that they actually open every Monday. We ran the cutover over a weekend with paper backup ready. Three months in, the team retired the last spreadsheet.
